Not worth it at this price, I would spend 200+$ more for a better specs T14
- 45%NTSC, 300 nits screen
- Ryzen 7735U is Zen3+, 2 gen behind not one
- Potential low capacity battery, this E14 have an option with higher battery capacity (even higher than T14 for some reason)
- Worse built quality than T14
E series is the bottom tier of the ThinkPad lineup. And this has a Zen 3+ processor (in reality a 6000 series). Given that and the mediocre display, not a great price.
This Ryzen CPU is not a great one...multiple customers have complained about slowness. It's noticable to them and I both...and you can get similar specs in a Dell for < $500 at costco right now.

Agree this is not a great laptop deal, but specs are not everything. Nothing touches a thinkpad keyboard. A $500 Dell can't remotely come close in terms of productivity

Slow in what way? Particle physics simulations? Perhaps you procured your customers the wrong class of laptop.

I feel you. There is no way a computer in this age with a ssd is 'slow' anymore. Most entry laptops are more powerful than office desktops from 10 years ago.
