I have the 21 qt version of this, I've owned it for an entire year and I keep it in my truck 24/7. I also use it while camping. My travel trailer has a 12v fridge in it but these are completely different. These are so efficient with their minimal power draw and truly amazing performance. I could literally write a book on why this product is superior to every cooler I've ever owned, and I've owned many over the years. It has voltage protection to keep your vehicles battery from draining if you leave it plugged up. I camp 2-3 times a month and haven't bought a bag of ice since I've bought it. The capacity isn't huge but that's exactly what I wanted bc it cools down very quickly and it still has plenty of room for most everything. I go to the grocery store when it's convenient and if I put my cold items in and don't worry about when I can get home. Through the week I keep it loaded with waters and no longer stop at convenience stores to pay $3 for a bottle of water. The whole family really does love this. I'm working in the field most days and I prep my lunches/snack sandwiches for the week and don't even bother with the fridge in the house. I know this review may seem over the top, but I won a yeti cooler in a raffle for my daughter's softball team last fall and I can't find a reason to use it. This is a great price and a quality product. I was concerned about longevity when I first ordered it but it has been nothing short of amazing. Your only regret will be waiting so long to make the purchase. There are several other brands that cost 3x-10x and I can't vouch for their quality bc I wasn't going to spend that kind of money but this is a no brainer in my opinion.

I bought one last month and have a few trips with it. I'm quite happy with the purchase. I do intend to purchase the insulation cover. While it cools quickly, it also tends to warm up quickly when not powered, unlike traditional coolers with thick insulation. Also, I wish it had handles. The cover will address that however.

I've owned this for over a year. Best purchase ever. I use it everyday in the house as a extra fridge along with taking it to the drive on beach and offroad trips where It's gets the crap beat out of it from bouncing around the back trunk but it still works perfectly. I pair it with a Bluetti 300w battery and can run the fridge for about 8 hours at 30 degrees in 90 degree weather.
Thanks for suggession. Just bought BLUETTI AC2A $150 to go with this cooler.

I have a 7 seater and the 30 qt fits perfectly
Thanks. Do you have the pro version? I went with the BougeRV CRPRO30 since it's only $17 more and only half an inch taller. Hoping it will fit my trunk perfectly like the regular 30 qt as you stated.

I bought the regular 30 and the cover. 24 hour grocery store is closer to my job-and i can now shop at night. Hopefully this will work well for me. The only reason I would have considered the battery model as that compartment might be convenient to store the power cords.

I have a couple of these, the CRPRO20 and CRPRO25. Both are solid and cool down fast. Both will hold cans and normal bottles, but you need something taller like a 30 quart unit for wine bottles standing up.

I run them off EcoFlow batteries. Using 12V DC, I can get 6-8 hours on a 256Wh battery. These units run most efficiently on 12V DC; you get a lot less runtime using the AC adapter with an external battery.

The 21 quart size is probably the smallest useful size I'd get. I actually want to try larger ones, so I ordered the $99 Vevor 37 quart unit to compare.

Comments and yt reviews sold me. In for one. I wheel (off-road) in a 2004 SAS Tahoe and it would be so nice to not have to bring my cooler inside the house each time to load it up with ice.

Has anyone been able to plug a Milwaukee 12V or 18V battery into this? That would be the trigger for me on this. BTW, it is able to run on 24V, so it works quite well on the straight 18v with no converter.

Did a google search and found adaptors for other fridges but not this one.
I did this exact thing. I unscrewed the side cover and wire a generic M18 adapter into the battery/cup holder compartment. This fridge runs 42-55w. I get a solid 4hrs up to 6hrs on a M18 8amp which fits plugged in.

Home Depot has a special buy on one that looks similar (bottom of case has identical vents) however this one is slightly larger

Went through 2 of these in a month before asking for a refund. Both had compressor issues. First was in the first week, second was a few weeks. Wouldn't trust this with food. Probably fine for just drinks.

I haven't been through all of the comments, but I noticed Amazon has this same cooler/freezer sold by BougeRV and shipped by Amazon for $152.99, exactly 99 cents more than this deal. I would recommend Amazon for the free and easy return policy.

EDIT: just saw the comment from the person that opted for the 30qt model at BougeRV vs Amazon. As Emily Litella used to say: "Never mind!"
