I purchased this welder from the eBay seller in the link below back in March. They currently have it for $256 after coupons.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/166181451374

I'm a beginner, but my uncle has taught welding before and he was impressed by things like the duty cycle of the machine and the quality of the included gun for the $260 I paid.

The work clamp/lead leaves something to be desired, but it's something that's easy to upgrade/replace.

I have only used the flux core and not the MIG aspect of it since I don't have a tank yet. I've also not used the stick yet, but I'm glad it came with that anyway.

Yeswelder makes some pretty decent stuff. I've had one of their MIG setups for 4 years and been very happy with it.
It's similar to this one but without the aluminum compatibility and only 200 amp rated. It runs best on 220V and with shielding gas, but still runs on 110 V or flux core wire. No complaints on the stick function, either.

I have a Yeswelder 200a multiprocess MIG/TIG/stick and it's great. For the price, the quality is outstanding.

Is it better than the one that Harbor Friend is selling?

Tons of reviews on You Tube on this one and harbor freight comparable. Both are solid welders. I bought the yes welder cause it was on sale.

I have the YESWELDER TIG 250-p, they are an amazing value. YESWELDER seems to similar Harbor Freight Titanium in quality, superior to the Chicago Electric. I've had no problems with it but I've heard great things about YESWELDERs customer support. Harbor Freight would have the advantage of extended warranty and walking into a local store for a replacement.

I'm considering buying this MIG to add to my garage. TIG is neat and versatile, but if your just working with mild steel, MIG is so much faster and easier.

Almost pulled the trigger on a comparable ArcCaptain welder which has been on "sale" for $350 since few weeks. Got this YW since it's cheaper. Thanks!

Wow, nice find! Didn't realize a much better deal on the MIG-250 PRO was happening on eBay. I'll return my Amazon order to save $50.

Good find on the eBay unit for $256 after using the two codes on the page.
I ended up jumping in on it and buying for the $256 price.

Originally I wanted a 120/240 system but this ended up cheaper.

It mentions cast iron. Is that with a stick welder?

You can weld cast iron with all three processes, but stick is most straight forward. For all three, you will need a nickel-based filler material. The problem with MIG is that you need a special type of shielding gas that contains helium.

Cast iron is insanely difficult to weld.

Am I reading right that you'll need a 40amp 220v breaker for this?
