I'm a beginner, but my uncle has taught welding before and he was impressed by things like the duty cycle of the machine and the quality of the included gun for the $260 I paid.
The work clamp/lead leaves something to be desired, but it's something that's easy to upgrade/replace.
I have only used the flux core and not the MIG aspect of it since I don't have a tank yet. I've also not used the stick yet, but I'm glad it came with that anyway.
It's similar to this one but without the aluminum compatibility and only 200 amp rated. It runs best on 220V and with shielding gas, but still runs on 110 V or flux core wire. No complaints on the stick function, either.

I'm considering buying this MIG to add to my garage. TIG is neat and versatile, but if your just working with mild steel, MIG is so much faster and easier.

I ended up jumping in on it and buying for the $256 price.
Originally I wanted a 120/240 system but this ended up cheaper.
