nearly every post you've made on this forum since joining is to dump on protein deal posts. On top of that, you personally don't understand why someone would pay more for isolate vs concentrate. We get it. Move on.
How does the chocolate taste compared to ON extreme milk chocolate? More or less sweet?
I stopped drinking non-isolate protein a long time ago. I will say that its not really that sweet but sweet enough for my taste. If I feel like I want more chocolate/sweet, I'll pump in a little chocolate syrup. Also, I tend to mix 1.5-2 scoops in my 24oz shakers as 1 scoop is usually like "oh yeah I can taste some sweetness in this".
Just curious, how many scoops do you guys consume in a day? I do 1 per day but will probably go up to 2 (at separate times). Finding it hard to get more than 100 grams of protein a day even with 1 scoop.
The cocoa pebbles flavor is amazing and that the pricing is good for this brand, but outside of that vacuum with respect to isolate and protein in general it is still:
$0.022/g @ 15% S&S (~45g/$)
$0.027/g @ 5% S&S (~37g/$)
The deal is barely slick at 15% S&S with reasonable slick whey protein price targets being below $0.02/g. I know that time and inflation are meant to be factors in pricing, but looking at the market WPC 34 prices over the years maybe someone can help me understand why from an objective whey isolate standpoint that this is slick?

I do 5. 1 scoop with breakfast, a double scoop after my workout, and a double scoop shake before bed. It really just depends on how much protein you are aiming for. I'm bulking so trying to keep my intake up, but I normally aim for 1g/lb.

Wow that's the highest I've heard! Thanks for sharing. Not trying to persuade you but just based on my own research I don't think 1g/lb is necessary and ultimately will lead to fat creation but I realize a lot of people do that and have had success. One well received study[nih.gov] found anything over 1.6 grams/Kilogram of body weight didn't provide a benefit. In fact I believe not a single study has shown more than 1.6g/kg provides any benefit in muscle growth. But if you've had success with 1g/lb then I understand staying on that.
Now this is just for natural bodybuilding, steroid users may benefit from more protein.

Thanks OP, great deal. $119 all in for 3. My first order was in 2014 for the older Gourmet Elite and it was $35.99. Dymatize has always had great quality products.
Crazy deal and thanks! Mine came out to $118 for 3 tubs. Thanks, I set up 2 S&S orders for 3, but only got the extra 10% off once which was fine. Overall, it comes out to about $40/5lbs of isolate. That's far cheaper than regular whey protein, even when on sale at Costco. Any idea how far out expiration dates usually are?

How did you guys get it to work with subscribe & save? It makes me subscribe one tub at a time, and doen't give the discount. Discount is only applied for me if I do the one time purchase.
Does it allow mixing flavors? Or do you have to buy 3 of the same flavor. I tried it with three that were part of the sale but different flavors, didn't work for me.

I also do 1 gram per lb of body weight. Currently eating 220g a day. I think this would only lead to fat creation if he's over his calorie expenditure. High protein diets work really well if you balance the increased intake with lowering carbs and fats. I don't know the research behind if it actually increases muscle mass the more you take beyond a certain point, but I do notice for me it seems to aid with recovery a ton, which can help you get better work outs, possibly leading to more muscle mass. But to each their own!
Damn, 15lb of ISO for $131.52 shipped is a hell of a deal. I have never purchased 15lb of protein at once in my life, but this stuff has a good shelf life. I think I'll bite!

I added them to the cart then changed each one in the cart..
It shows the discounted amount at checkout but I'm only getting the 5%.
Anyone know how to change the delivery date to a future S&S order date to get the 15%????

Looks like you can mix as long as they are part of the promo. I added 2 cocoa pebbles and 1 vanilla to my cart.
Just trying to figure out how to change the delivery date to unlock the full 15% S&S discount.

Or maybe I should just stop complaining about this all the time on here and open up my own isolate refinery
