> Not breathable. Holds and retains odors like crazy.
> Cheap to manufacture. Companies love to produce more and more to line their pockets with this easy "fast fashion".
> Harmful Pollutant to the environment when disposed. Burning or incineration causes release of toxicity and chemicals into the environment.
> Contributes to those beautiful microplastics that are oh so trendy and tasty to have in water supplies. We haven't even begun to understand the long-lasting ramifications of these in our bodies and consumable goods.

I would also suggest to avoid recycled polyester---if you haven't run across this yet, you will, it's becoming more common. Multiple family/extended family members who tend to have more sensitive skin have reported having bad reactions to clothing articles made from recycled polyester

While these offer decent comfort, the side seams have a tendency to fray. It's not a deal-breaker, but something to keep in mind if you're looking for long-lasting underwear.

I like that they are named after a cat.

As for polyester, it's come a long way since the days of the Jordache rash. There is good, durable, breathable polyester. It exists.

No idea if this underwear uses it.

Not to derail the rant on poly, but I've wondered: is there any legitimate meaning to 'performance' in such ads as this? Or is it just the meaningless marketing buzzword I suspect?

Good for running. Keeps my giblets in place. Wearing cotton the rest of the day though.

Once cotton gets wet it stays that way which is disgusting and an easy way to die of exposure, however, plastic has been shown to be absorbed through sweat. I think it's time to go full scotsman.

I have some of these just throw on a couple puffs of powder and you'll be fine.
