Honestly , I don't think this is just a kids tablet. It is good for more than 90% of tablet users.

We bought two of these for my kids from target a few months back while they were $250 after years of shitty fire tablets. Worth every penny. Kids can actually play the games without crazy lab and crashing. Fantastic kids tablet.

We bought two of these for my kids from target a few months back while they were $250 after years of shitty fire tablets. Worth every penny. Kids can actually play the games without crazy lab and crashing. Fantastic kids tablet.

My family and I all have iPads. We all use it every day, especially my parents. It was honestly, one of the best purchases I have ever made as gifts for my parents.

Important tip: Get the iPad 256 GB. You don't think you will need it, but you will, if you end up using your iPad a lot. My parents love looking at pictures of the grandkids on the iPad, which takes up memory.

If you get the 64 GB, the iPad will only be good for internet surfing, YouTube and streaming music.

That what I did for example. Internet surfing and media streaming. That it. No productivity on laptop nor smartphone needed. Helped minimize "phone addiction" Best $200 spent.

I got this from Target when they had that stupid glitch on their system for under $200. Well worth it at this price over any other tablet. Still runs the latest operating system and is plenty snappy. Fire tablets are great for kids or older adults but I found them so slow. This is world's better screen and speed wise.

totally agree

I have an uncle who years ago wanted tablets for his kids, he wanted cheap stuff. so he told me about the amazon tablets
it was so painful just to set them up.
after that, he decided to go with iPads and it's much better.

just have to set up those parental controls for the kids. put a limit on each app and absolutely no in app purchases...learned that the hard way

Good iPad, only concern for long term is that 9th gen has 3GB RAM, 10th gen has 4GB and M1 Air 8GB. Likely at some point some software will require more than 3GB RAM. But for next few years this should be plenty.

Our iPads have lasted physically 6-7years usable so need to think bit longer term

Yeah, folks should know they're getting killer value but going absolutely budget with this 3 year old iPad.

If you've got the budget, the $300 2023 iPad will last longer.
