Looks like a pumped-up Asus Creator Q540 which I own, except the Q540 has dual SSD slots and one SODIMM where this one is opposite.
It looks like the exhaust fans blow out both sides and the back, so no getting around a warm hand wherever your mouse is.
Will keep an eye on open box units (got my Q540 for around $500 OB) and see if the price comes sub-$900 someday.

Looking at the ProArt series, they have 2 SSD slots (like my Creator Q540) and this has only one so that's confusing if this is a budget ProArt.

Don't go by Best Buy's name. The difference between normal Pro 16 and pro 16X is the 1st one is thinner and lighter version and packs significantly less powerful hardware and limited thermal headroom. normal Pro 16 has Intel H series Processors with max 90W of PL2 and the GPU power is just 50W and limited to RTX 4060 max. On the other hand, Pro 16X has the high core count desktop equivalent HX series CPU with up to 160W PL2 and full powered 140W GPU.
The confusion does not end there as Asus even has another budget model called, Asus Vivobook 16X, without the Pro. That is more or less similar to VivoBook pro 16 models but normally don't come with premium OLED panels.

Even with laptop's lower power requirements, the problem will extend to laptops eventually as servers ( with their lower power limits) are also seeing the same problems as customer desktops. Just my option, but I would not take a chance.
