Here is what I said about this deal about a month back:

Great printer for this price. Those who caution against this as "just another Ender" need to undesrstand the difference between the old Ender 3 Pro or similar and this.
1. This is quite a bit faster than an old Ender 3 though not as fast as the printers with vibration compensation.
2. This has auto bed leveling and Z-offset. The bed leveling works great and mine's out of the box level was very good. While it does have auto-z offset I did dial mine in a bit.
3. This does require assembly but nothing like the old Enders. The assembly steps are put the gantry on the base, put the spool holder on the gantry. Connect the screen, connect some wires.

Something I don't like when compared to the Ender 3 V2 is the fan noise. The Ender 3 and 3 Pro had quiet fans but loud stepper motors. With the V2 the fixed the loud steppers and, likely thanks to the slow print speeds, the fans were quite as well. With the V3 the print speeds went up so the fans had to get stronger thus noisier. Not really loud but not quiet.

One other nice thing about the Ender printers is there is a lot of knowledge base and options for them. You also have a lot of slicer options as the Enders are so common. For better and worse this printer doesn't directly support network printing but that also means, unlike Bambu Labs, this system isn't trying to contact unknown Chinese servers from your network.

Two things I don't care for, I created a side mount filament holder since I don't really like putting the heavy spool on top of the gantry. I also don't like that this printer doesn't have a handy tool holder spot like some of the other Enders. Perhaps a minor thing is it doesn't come with a PEI build plate. I picked one up for $14. I've put masking tape on the original plate. Masking tape is actually a great build surface. The Monoprice Cadet printer didn't have a heated bed because PLA sticks to masking tape so nicely. When the surface gets torn up, replace it.

TLDR:
Great printer. The biggest limitation is that I had to adjust the auto z-axis.
Usable entry-level printer, even has automatic z-offset adjustment. Better than buying one of the older Ender 3 models.
The model MC puts on "sale" for $99 is the Ender 3 V2. It's missing quite a few upgrades over this V3 SE model.

Try a few different brands of PLA and see what works best with your printer and settings. It's a lot of trial and error, especially with Enders

Great review! Man I really want network control. Any clue what would be the best route for that? I have an ender clone that works fantastic but I kinda wanna update to something that prints faster. I have a Voxelab Aquila. Do you have any clue how much better something like this would be? Thanks

I use a raspberry pi 3 with octoprint to control my Ender 3V2 and it works great for network controls

Sadly the only one left in FL, sad, it's a drive from the Tampa area.

Just got one, thanks op. Finally going to try out a 3D printer. In case others wondering, listing says 2 year warranty via Allstate. And the dimensions are 13.7" x 14.3" x 19.3"

I've always had great results with hatchbox using my ender 3. its the only brand I buy because I just don't have quality issues with my prints like others do with other brands.

Just bought this, but now wondering if the neo one is better—larger build area. Is this one easier to use? It's for a 15 yo.

I originally bought this last year as a Christmas gift to myself. I can echo what a lot of others have said. It works well enough out of the box. I started getting a lot of failed prints and it was frustrating as a beginner to try and learn and troubleshoot. The auto z-offset was the culprit. Had to tweak it manually. The fans are also loud and annoying. I upgraded them to quieter ones and also printed a dual duct fan shroud for the parts cooling fan. This also helped with the print quality.

All in all, it's a good printer for the price, but be prepared to tinker and tweak it.

FWIW I "upgraded" to the Bambu A1 Mini and it's been a night and day experience. The A1 Mini blows the Creality out of the water in every way.
