Drives me nuts when a link takes me to the amazon app and I can't buy the movie.
It blows my mind that it neither lists the price nor allows you to buy on the app. Why? Is there a good reason for that? It's so annoying and discourages people from making purchases.

There is a reason and I don't fault Amazon for it.
The problem is that Google demands a 30% cut for any in-app digital purchases therefore Amazon doesn't allow you to buy in app. However you can technically use the browser on the phone to purchase digital contents....just not directly in the the app.
There is a workaround though if you are willing to install Amazon App directly via Amazon App Store and bypass Google Play store.

If you're clicking the link from an iOS device then it's Apple's fault. Apple doesn't want you to purchase digital media from any other services besides their own. So you aren't allowed to purchase movies/tv shows on other services' apps -- instead having to purchase it through a browser window. If you're on an Android device it should work fine.
Now, if you aren't using an iOS device and still having this issue, then I don't know what the deal is.

Guessing the 4K release will be available when Tron Ares is released.

Edit: Wow, found the original on sale too
I wish Korean movies under $5 could also be searched in the same way.
Two Korean action movies I really like are also on sale for $5 or less:
The Man From Nowhere

War of the Arrows
