The best way to set up the fingerprint sensor IME is to first turn on the sensitivity setting, install screen protector, then do several sessions with the SAME finger. I do at least 3 with my thumb.
But for some reason, these ESR screen protectors have a higher fall rate than others. Yes, it will work, but you will have to make several more attempts to unlock your phone and it will annoy you. People in the thread above had the same issue.
Unless ESR made a change to these since the release of the S24U, I would stay away from their glass screen protectors if you plan to use the fingerprint sensor.
