1. I have the Anker C1000. It mostly works ok but I have had issues with it and do want to return it. Sometimes on low powered items like an air purifier it registers as 0 output. In fact no matter what fan setting I use (even high) it always registers as 0 output. And, even on high output appliances like a window AC that does 450w it sometimes will show as 0 as well when it is very obviously not pulling 0 watts. I wouldn't say it happens often but it's not rare either when I get this issue. The huge issue that I had once is that the solar input was nothing and it wouldn't charge even though there was plenty of sun. That is a huge deal breaker for me and I would have been really annoyed if I went out and it didn't recharge the whole time. Not sure what caused it as the plug was clearly in and nobody else disturbed it (and it was charging that morning just fine). So, with all of these experiences I'm a bit skeptical on a close to 4,000 USD Anker purchase (after tax).
2. The solar specs on this kind of sucks. Usually for models of this capacity there's 2 solar input ports (which this does have). But they usually are one high and one low power port. This one just has 2 ports that are the same and they are both low spec. 60v VOC max it looks like for both ports... which means if i want to run two 400w panels i will have to run 2 separate lines and use both ports. Not my preferred way I would just rather run two 400w panels in series to one port. With this unit I can't. I'm not exactly an Ecoflow fan but the Delta Pro 3 which is a competitor of the F3800 (same capacity) has a high power solar port that does I think 150V in the high power port.
3. I think prices will drop even further as we head toward Dec but this requires more waiting.
EDIT: 4. Just discovered an additional huge weakness in the solar specs for those that care.... the 2 solar ports need to have mirror setups.... multiple people are saying that if you have different spec setups it only accepts the higher solar input. On the ecoflows you can do 9 panels in one port, 3 panels in another as long as they meet the port specs. So the F3800 is even weaker in the solar specs than I thought.
This is a decent price though but not sure gotta think about it some more. It's coming out to $3,679.43 after tax for me.
You can charge using AC and/or solar.

44V Vmpp is enough to hit 1200W now, and 40V will hit almost 1100W.
Good deal with the extra capacity, particularly if wellbots does not charge tax.

My EV has 100kwh battery and gets approx 300 miles range with that fully charged. So approx 3 miles per kWh. This thing as bundled is about 7.5 kWh. So I charge this up, presumably via solar panel, and then plug in my car, and get about 22 miles range? Is that the idea here?

But read my earlier post about this thing's solar specs. The F3800 has pretty weak solar specs compared to the competition.
