The mic quality is OK if you are in a quiet environment. Call quality is abysmal if people around you are talking, like in a coffee shop. I quit using these because they were useless for phone calls.

Love these. Got like 5 pair from ebay for 13$ each. I haven't had any of the problems ppl were complaining about on Amazon. The anc is actually very good. Better than my earfun air s. Better than. Any of my other cheap earbuds as well. And their app works. One complaint I had is the volume can't go super super low but u can fine tune using the eq. It's by no means really loud at the lowest volume I'm just Mr sensitive.

The only complain I have against this product is that the earbuds are a little too big for my ears. Anyone here has the same problem? Solutions?

Other than that, these earbuds are great, especially considering how much they sell for.

Edit:
There have been many negative reviews recently, wondering if there were some production quality issues.

Just bought on this deal. They're great at the price. The charging case is rather large. The ANC seems decent. Tested it in a room with a loud fan and it worked.

The code is accepted, but doesn't reduce the price. I'm seeing $20.

EDIT: Removed item from cart, added back, and the price updated to $14.79.
...wish I could find my Sony buds, but these will be my backups.

Yes. I bought a pair and the case is comically large. Like if I needed a brick to throw, this would suffice instead.

Otherwise I like these quite a bit. Reasonable sound. Very good anc (actually almost disorienting at first it is so good), and it's only 15 bucks. Big win if you need a pair.

Ordered these when the deal was first posted. Sound quality is good. Only surprise is that the charging container is quite big. Too big to be in a pants pocket.

I'll test these out over cheap Xiao tem or Ali buds for 5-10 dollars. the 4 dollar amazon woot pairs are usually just 3 dollar versions on the cheaper websites we know as fact and typically crap but I always loose a pair so no point buying expensive buds until they get a gps device + find my pods/buds on them to locate them.

lets see if these are any good

I just got these. The case is HUGE and the buds are big too. I don't like them just for that, these are def. a backup pair only, too cumbersome

There's a new "Redeem" button on the Amazon page now that replicates the original deal for $14+ I just used it.

The price is really low, so I decided to try it. If I don't like it, I can return it.

Your objection to active noise canceling is that it won't target the correct frequencies, or react quickly enough? Either way, if the earbuds have a decent physical seal, they're going to provide a level of passive noise reduction. I have a pair that fit well enough to use on flights and for weedwhacking.
For shooting (or cutting the grass) I'll put earmuffs over them, which is much quieter than ear plugs or earmuffs alone, and lets me listen to something for an hour on the riding mower. If he's talking about using these in a pinch vs. making a habit of it, the earbuds are going to be much better than nothing.
Yes, to both really. Ideally, ANC works by producing an opposite sound wave at the same amplitude. So to completely block out a gun shot, the ANC would theoretically have to produce as loud of a noise at different frequencies for them to cancel out. You risk an incorrect and loud sound wave from the ANC, or if it's not fast enough, you get the sound of the gunshot. Currently, and for $14 ($40), I don't think that's a good idea. Passive ear protection doesn't have these flaws. They are more reliable.

Many people, like you mentioned, double up with in ear and over the ear protection since the sense of hearing isn't one we want to damage or lose.
