Posting my comment from the Best Buy thread yesterday:
I actually like this game a lot. I just got it for my daughter last month who is 9 and we've played several times. It's not too complicated, and we finish a game in 30 min. It's easy enough that we can play with a 4 year old as well (with some guidance).
Each player can pick a pet before starting, which gives you slightly different abilities. So as an adult, I can help out by playing my "class" effectively, helping my kids pull off a win.
