Stopped by my local Lowe's to pick up some speaker wire for a patio project.

They have multiple rolls and sizes (lengths and gauges) on clearance in store. Of course I didn't need 250', but at this price I will keep it for any future projects.

Regular price $56.53. Online shows $22.57, in store it was $14.02.

i saw this the and 250ft of CAT5E 24/4 [lowes.com] on clearance for $26.22 (75% off) at my store the other day. I always find the best stuff on clearance on Lowe's but it's so YMMV I rarely post.

Is one wire copper and the other tinned copper? Wondering why the photo shows them as different colors. Maybe one wire is Cu and the other Al? Is that a thing? Reviews don't mention it

Super thin speaker wire @ 18ga do not buy unless you only want to power something that is 25 watts. Use 14 or better 12 gauge

Note: The local store had two "rolls" which had been opened and shodily rebundled, Obvious kinks in the roll. I'm guessing they were no longer 250'.
