Bought this one previously for $400 after a lot of research. If you can get your hands on it, I think it's a great budget pick that I haven't had any issues with.

Bought one of the two past ones. The costco employee who checked me out got last one when he saw price lol

Unpacked and set it up. Took few attempts to connect to wifi (i have verizon fios and none of the devices had issues). Menu is slow, takes up to few seconds for each response. Then it decided to do update. Once it completed and restarted it asked again to do the update. We did update 3 times until we realized it keeps doing same update. There is no opt out option. It pops every freaking time we turn tv back on.

I started reading reddit and essentially my tv is bricked. I have never been so disappointed with new product.

Edit: so frustrated rn. Read costco reviews about bricked tv stuck in update loop. I hope you have better luck than me.

Update: After few attempts it finally finished update and we are enjoying tv. It is pretty responsive now as well. Maybe it just takes some time to get going.

I have had better luck with my 75" TLC - now 3 years old. My Hisense 55" only lasted a year before it died and it wasn't the semi easy to replace backlighting. YMMV
This Costco my guy, 3 year warranty with the tv

Hisense sucks. If you want a cheap TV go with TCL.
I've had good luck with both.

I agree.

If you get two years of ok quality display, you'll be lucky.

I have this in 65" that I bought about 1.5 years from Costco. One pixel died within the first few months but otherwise has worked fine. I think people have commented on the google tv streaming and what not - to me it's not amazing or super fast, but to stream and watch basic antenna tv it's good for my general watching needs. For $300 if you just want a tv to watch shows and sports I think it's an amazing deal.
