Just because it has a 4070 doesn't make it a "pretty good deal". This has a better processor and display and there's not much difference between the 4060 and 4070 except in some games.
Maybe try knowing about specs.

Also, it's been as low as $1049 multiple times and wasn't really well received, so at $1099 it's definitely not a pretty good deal.

Aside from the cpu are there any differences vs this if we all agree that the 7700s does produce around the 4060-70 range?

The 12th gen version is often on sale for $100 less. This is just the newest 13th gen. Not an HX processor so not affected by Intel desktop issues but at the same time the CPU is far worse than this. Color on both screens is good but this one might have a lower latency.

I'd pick that one up for mainly gaming and this for mixed usage. (AMD laptops generally last longer off the wall) Notice how I'm not putting you down...

I'll never understand how best buy, walmart, micro center, new egg...etc all have incredible laptop/desktop deals constantly, yet amazon nearly always have shitty deals, if they even have any deals at all.
