This looks to be a better model (400 lumen vs. 315) than the one on sale earlier this week for $10.

+1 for the deal, might grab one as an extra. It's not the world's fanciest headlamp but it works for casual camping and home use, batteries last a long time without any maintenance.

I assume they're liquidating the old battery powered headlamps for rechargeable models and these will continue to go for cheap.

I've owned one of these for so long I can't remember not owning it and I can't remember buying it. It has worked flawlessly. The elastic in the strap is still good. It's just a good solid light.

Complaints
The switch to turn it on doesn't make a lot of sense. If you push the power button, you have to hit it several times to get to your previous use setting. Push the other button if you want to use the mode you last used. When I use it, I have to remind myself not to push the power button. It's not a big problem, it's just not as intuitive as it should be.

not to thread jack but for those who have costco - the infinity x1 comes in a 3 pack for $20 in store which is about the same price for 700 lumens and dual power.

Isn't it better and quicker to have battery powered headlamp when camping than to find a source to charge the rechargeable headlamp?

pros and cons to both really. if your headlamp dies in the dark it's obviously better to swap batteries than to have to recharge, but in all other scenarios i find rechargeable to be better. i always have a power bank with me when camping etc

I found them end bought 2 packs. I don't like that have to press 4 times to get light off. Previous version I think was 500 has instant on and off with the last settings.
