Got it today. I got the Bloomin' Burger for $15 (would have been 14.49 otherwise) and the deal gave me an additional bowl of baked potato soup and a decent size piece of cheesecake for the extra 50 cents. The burger kind of sucked, but everything else was good.

Prices were 14.99/16.99/19.99 depending on what you got, and none seemed like much of a bargain. Where I am at least, prices at Outback have gone way up, and everything is so salty as to be toxic to eat. The things that I still enjoy are the fried mushroom appetizer, the Toowoomba Salmon, and the Bloomin' Onion (if you have enough people who want to share it). The "Outback Special" with the Sirloin used to be a great option and an awesome value, but their Sirloin, which used to be their best steak and the only place I ate a Sirloin, is total crap these days. And none of their other steaks measure up to the competing chains. The bread and butter is the best part.
Lol welcome to the American diet. I just came back from Thailand and its shocking how much salt is in EVERYTHING. You can immediately taste it. Salt is basically the way to make everything taste better, its cheap and easy. Takes zero skills and zero care. Its just to make money regardless what it does to your health.
lmao bro... how?? how much do you wanna pay for a full meal, $2? good luck with that.

I received this deal at the Outback in Laguna Hills, CA, Friday night, so it is available in CA. Price and participation may vary, so YMMV at other locations.

Ok, thanks for letting me know! I looked up my location and it didn't show on their menu or another location a bit further away. Also saw verbiage "Offer not valid at select restaurant locations in the states of AK, CA, ID, MS, MT, OR, SD, TN, UT, WA, WY, plus all airport locations". But this looks like for the kids special.

You could eat at a buffet for a little more than this
You really don't understand buffets do you. Yeah you can go to a buffet for a few dollars more but are you really going to eat more? You have plenty of choices at a restaurant too. And you are usually pretty full by the time you leave. Atlast you don't have people sneezing in ur food and it's cooked for ur liking and delivered to you.

Genuine aussie here. i agree, when i first came to the states before COVDI, food in the US was all very reasonably priced and eating out was pretty good value. Nowadays, it feels like a ripoff - portions are no longer gigantic and eating out is too expensive for the sloppy presentation that you get from these chains.

Cure bad food and service at Chain restaurants.... Boycott for a few months, give your business to local, individually owned restaurants. Soon the chains will either start serving good food with snappy service, or go under.

I think the selling point on a buffet isn't just the number of plates you can eat, but also the variety you can pick from for each plate.

I dont get it, so just go in and get the promo? The "starting at" is the key term here. So what accounts for the starting price?
