Flavored serves the needs of people on the fly who mix with water.

Un-flavored anything has the advantage of easily being able to detect the quality. Dymatize is highly rated for a standard consumer grade. But the whey used is still a by-product of cheese making. Even if it weren't it contains hydrolysed whey which is unpalatable to some. Artificial sweetners and flavors cover up the off-flavors.

Native whey is not a by-product. It is sourced directly from whole milk, typically organic from grass feeding cows. It is usually low temperature processed. The taste of unflavored Native is fresh and light. It has health benefits over standard grade. If it has more than one ingredient then that will be sunflower not soy lecithin. However Native Whey can cost 4 times as much as standard grade and both grades will enhance muscle building.

Standard grade unflavored from a reliable brand is still better tasting and healthier than any flavored variety. Consumers who wish to avoid chemicals or are withdrawing from added sugar buy unflavored because substituting with artificial sweeteners is not an alternative.

At home it is easy to flavor whey with anything natural especially if one has a blender thus making it the healthier option. Can also bake and cook with it. Un-flavored which is not premium priced Native Whey is getting harder to find.

I haven't tried many flavors, but cookies and cream was awful. I love the ISO-100 fudge brownie and thought the cookies and cream would be a good change, but I had to mix it with other powders because the flavor was awful to me.

It's sickly cloying imo. I bought one tub last year and have had a hard time getting through it. Should have just stuck with fruity pebbles.

I've never tried fruity pebbles, sounds like it's worth a shot?

It's amazing! I consider myself pretty picky as there are several I've thrown out as I find them inedible. Fruity pebbles is THE BEST protein powder I've ever tried. Bar none. It tastes like the milk at the end of a bowl of cereal.

I have the fudge brownie and it's OK, it mixes almost on it's own but the taste is borderline too fake to handle.

I put as little water as possible for it to dissolve and it goes down in like 3 gulps.
