Someone says that "it is not plastic it is made out of gelatin material which's organic and it dissolves in water". Hope they are right as I haven't had time to verify.
I recommend people stop buying these. These pods contain nanoplastics that are part of the problem in leaching into your dishes and everyone's water supplies

Just a PSA, the real slick deal is using cheap powdered detergent and following the four steps
1) Clean filters on the dishwasher
2) Run the sink until you get hot water from the tap
3) use the little door that opens mid wash to release detergent
4) add a little extra powder detergent to the basin for the first round

Old bag I have says: "polyvinyl alcohol water soluble film" which is unfortunately one of the microscoplastic contributors

They used to do just compressed powder tablets, but I think that even those come covered in PVA now
