Could be cheaper. This is almost identical to the ASUS Creator Q540, spec-wise, and the Creator was down to $849 new and $520 open box before it's now totally discontinued. Differences -- 14" touch screen vs bigger 15.6" non-touch. 32GB vs 16GB (but Q540 isn't soldered) and some will say 14X has better build quality but the Q540's quality seems good to me. Whether that's worth an extra $500+ is up to you.

Similarities -- i9-13900H, 2.8K 120Hz OLED, 3050 discrete GPU.

Seems that if the Q540 is discontinued that this might see further price drops as it also becomes EOL.

I also want to mention that the 3050 in Q540 has 6GB.

This is not a AI pc as it has no NPU.
Nowadays you can get AI pac for as low as 600 bucks.
If you are spending double that amount, then but a laptop with NPU for future proofing.

Would rather have the similar Legion Slim 5 14.5" OLED which is currently $1156. Build quality is better and it has a 4060. If you don't game much this is good. 3050 is so much better than integrated graphics.

Lol @ "future proofing". By the time anything is truly done with NPU's this hardware will be antiquated anyway…
