Trade in any PC accessory to receive a 20% off Logitech equipment. the cashier tried telling me Astro is not Logitech but I simply showed them the Logitech logo on the physical box and they did it! The A50X is currently on sale for $341.99 minus the 20% off $273.59, after tax just short of $300

I traded in an old wired mouse and got the 20% coupon

Seems like an excellent discount! Thanks, OP!

This MSRP is pretty high. Are these worth the entry fee ?

The manager refused to honor the coupon despite me also showing her the Logitech logo. She claimed the Astro name made it not Logitech. Your mileage may vary. According to terms and conditions though, the 20% should absolutely apply.

I've heard some people have had trouble getting them to apply for these. My cashier didn't want to do it at first but after I showed them the Logitech logo ok box they went ahead and honored it. I'd try another store, it should be honored as it is clearly a Logitech item

If you have multiple systems then yes, if your on just one probably not. I had been using a pair of steelseries nova pro wireless, one connection to xbox then the second to a USB switch that was hooked up to my ps5, switch and pc. This eliminates having to manually switch between each device.

The big value of the Astro's as compared to other high end sets, at least on PS5, is that they can mix game audio and chat on the fly using a knob on the headset. Game audio is picked up from HDMI before being passed through, while chat audio is carried over USB.

Sony's Pulse and Inzone headsets can also do this using a private API that Sony refuses to make available to other headset manufacturers. Adjusting balance on any non-Astro, non-Sony headset requires opening the quick menu to make a change.

If you don't care about the mix then you may want to look at the Audeze Maxwell (better sound and mic) or, if you're going to have some background noise where you game, the Steelseries Nova Pro Wireless (active noise canceling).

If you have a steelseries nova pro wireless, the only reason to upgrade is if you play on more than 2 devices. With the nova pro you can connect to 2 usb devices.

I was able to replicate this deal today. I showed the cashier the offer details in the app and got a discount immediately without any questions. I traded in an old mouse, and my total with tax came to around 299. Great deal. Thanks a lot!

Game/ chat mix is just weird; if I want one louder, it doesn't mean I want the other less loud. While having the game/ chat mix is better than not having it, I've always preferred separate controls for each.
