Snips are designed to cut various thicknesses of stainless and cold-rolled steel. Offset blade models help keep material away from hands while cutting. All models feature an auto-release mechanism for fast one-handed operation. Large handle rings and double dipped grips on the Tin Snips are designed for more comfortable use. Snip models include offset long-nose, duckbill, 3-piece aviation set, offset left-cut, offset right-cut, straight-cut, right-cut aviation, left-cut aviation, straight-cut aviation, and 10-in and 12-in tin snips. Really? You stopped what you were doing to add that? Which added nothing at all?

I bought this right-handed one in the last deal, and I had the same complaint. You responded to a question nobody asked: anybody who's used tin snips knows they're color coded. These are color-coded in an awkward way. There's no need to get defensive about it, except to remind me why I stopped posting.

Tried these to cut stainless gutter guards—they were awful. I defaulted to using an older Stanley Fatmax straight snips which worked. The Craftsman couldn't cut the aluminum screen rails. Now it sits in the kitchen utility drawer to open plastic blister packs.
I could never get these to give me a clean cut, I always ended up getting a rolled edge, most likely because of my grip. These have now become my cutters that I let others borrow instead of my Crescent ones 😆.

As snips, they're trash.
Seems really stupid.

Most people are not going to be able to use right cut snips. This is going to be backwards for you for most of the time.
