This is not an isolate. There are 30g of protein in a 47g scoop (64% protein). I can not speak for the reputation of this brand but it is not pure enough for me.

Just moved and have no protein. This should hold me off until a deal on better protein comes along.

Thanks!

Their casein is the worst tasting protein. So much so that I couldn't finish it

Picked up a bunch of these at Walmart a few weeks back for $5. I have enough for six months now. Not the best out there but definitely not garbage.

They sell it at Walmart. It's been tested by some companies. This is like the creatine I replied to by 6 star on another post, nothing is safe these days but I'd say you're safe with these guys. I drink the fruit loops version pretty much daily. At this price I'm getting one. Google will show you test results, Here's an example: https://www.ironmanmagazine.com/d...in-drinks/

This combined with their creatine works well for soreness an gains imo. Mixes well and tastes better than any other brand I've tried, and I've tried a lot. (I'm referring to the fruit loop version)

I want to mention, I worked in management in the organic food distribution industry for years, a "regulated" industry. Just because something is certified doesn't mean you can put complete trust in it. Most of the products you buy come from one of few options, especially when dealing with overseas. Example: Macadamia nuts would come from Africa let's say and be deemed certified organic. Are the nuts tested at random, or do these large companies with tons of $ send off the sample they want tested. We sold organic peanut butter for several different companies, the peanut butter came from 1 main supplier (again limited options available when large volume is involved) but we would jar it for 10 different brands. 1 8oz jar with a cardboard label would sell for $10, a 12oz jar with a different company/label would sell for $8. People would die on a hill trying to argue with me about the flavor/consistency etc, when I literally saw the 5 gal bucket it came out of. Sorry for the rant, just don't think because something is certified it is automatically safe, especially when money is involved. For most of the brands dealing with large volume (a lot of orders) the ingredients in these products likely all come from a similar if not the same wholesaler prior to being mixed. Companies pay to be certified, often annually, so in essence every company that is certified is another dollar in the "certifiers" pocket. Ask yourself in this day and age, does the certifier really want to lose the dollar at the end of the day?

This stuff mixes really poorly and the scoop is huge for a serving. The taste is not bad though.
