They are accurate to 1/32" or better at short range and 1/16" at max range. When used indoors, I usually use for room survey/ layout, trimwork, and exact-fitting renovation framing (vs. folding tape). I commend you greatly if your cutting skill is in the 1/64" order of magnitude. Mine is only in the 32nd's so my Bosch works pretty well for my purposes.

Thoughts on visibility: Bosch lasers are very easy to see pretty much anywhere indoors and works best outdoors when cloudy or approaching dusk (as with all lasers). Bright situations make it difficult to see lasers at any long distance because the dot is so small (has to be to get 1/16" precision at 165').

These are super cool- I own several Bosch models (though not this one). As a homeowner, I really want to like/use them, but I just don't have a use case. For something like trim, they just aren't accurate enough-I need to the 64th to avoid joints looking sloppy.

That said, I'd love to hear how you guys use them.

These are great for estimating and doing floor plans for rehab work. The Bluetooth feature is way more useful if you have software to combine it with. I use magic plan, but honestly that was a software selection I made 10 years ago and haven't re-examined too deeply. It lets you pair with the measure then create a rectangle room then you push the button on the LDM and it sizes the room. You can do a floor plan in half an hour. Great for estimating paint or carpet, but dear God don't order cabinets based on a floor plan you were doing just to figure square footage for paint. I own the red version of this same laser which theoretically should be not quite as good. I paid full price and I love it despite having a handful of other LDM lying around

I use my Bosch laser all the time for trim and get tight joints. Just make the adjustment on your cut or when you scribe your cut line if the measurement are off. Reading and marking to 32nds or 64th is insane for trim imo. But I also don't trim any hardwoods?

other use case is quickly marking/finding centers of walls (measure wall then back and forth until both numbers are =), aligning horizontal/vertical laser lines (for example splitting a room down center), recently used one during fencing (measured top/bottom rails and verticals down row then cut).

Just purchased it, the free battery on the deal sold me. I had one but it was stolen. I do wish this had the multi line display. Worst case if i change my mind i will cancel the order

Home Depot sells this as a set with the battery for $198

These are great. I have this models and saved a lot of time. Price is great when other poster showed you can save a few bucks for knockoff, but not worth it.

Sore dick deal, can't beat it.

Unavailable for pickup and not showing free delivery Frown
It shows free delivery on the product page but charges $79 for scheduled delivery (that's the only option showing) in the cart.

Had the same problem. Remove the free battery and was able to pickup locally. Still a good deal without battery. I prefer aa anyway

Lucky you. It was $99 for delivery here. Absolutely ridiculous. It's one thing when an item is unavailable (although ensuring you have enough of both items in a bundle before, you know, bundling them doesn't seem like rocket science), another when it's advertised as available with free delivery and then suddenly still available but only for $100 delivery.

Last experience with Lowes was the AeroGarden fiasco over two years ago. Apparently the only thing I've missed is aggravation.

I have had these Bosch lasers fail early on after very little use. Make sure to register the product as i believe it will extend the warrantee to 2 years. They are incredibly accurate.

That's wack. I recently bought a Bosch MR23EVS router set & it died on me less than 1 minute of usage. Literally brand new...led lights still on but triggers do nothing. $289 for that bs, can you believe it?
