I also used some google store credit I had in my account. when I cancelled the order, it auto-returned to my account within 20min, and able to use with the code above

Trade in, 10% IDd me, 10%Google one credit, and $200 credit all stacked. When all said and done $200 to upgrade from pixel 7 pro.
Funny thing is I got more for trade in then I paid for it 4 months ago. I like it but can't frickin stand curves screens!
Bestbuy gave amazing credits for trade-ins...my iphone 12 was $500, and Google threw in a free Pixel watch.
This year not so much. Seems like they went the gift card/playstore credit route instead of discounts and device credits.
