Paying $1000 for 128gb phone is laughable, its not 2020 anymore when a 4a 128gb is $350 at release.

I went for the Pixel 9 deal then realized that a 9 pro would be a better deal for $100 more (and $200 gc vs $100 gc) but can't place the order now.

I also expect Google to realize they need more onboard RAM for AI, they struggled to get Pixel 8 to run it locally with 8GB, Pixel 9 (non-Pro) is only up to 12GB now.
Although I was a Google customer (G1, Nexus), I've never owned a pixel device. So, any valuable insight would be appreciated.
