Trade-in values are based not just on your trade, but also on what model you're buying. When trading an iPhone 12 / 13, you'll get the best trade value when buying a similar model of new Pixel. For example:
iPhone 12 / 13 Pro will get a $999 credit toward a Pixel 9 Pro (update: now $899 credit for 12 Pro)

Though a $100 Best Buy gift card is better for most people than a $100 Google Store credit, so that's a factor too.

I just paid $3 for Google voice and finished everything online in 10 minutes. I don't have time to spell my name, address, IMEI, phone number etc.
I bought one and never used.
