Though a $100 Best Buy gift card is better for most people than a $100 Google Store credit, so that's a factor too.

I wouldn't trade it in for the 190 trade in value BB is giving
But buying iPhone 12 for 250 for purposes of trading in nets me new phone for 150 after 100 gift card
That's an amazing deal I couldn't pass up. And can sell 6a for about that amount (150) to have new phone for free basically
And 6a is getting a bit long in the tooth. Twice the RAM would be good to have for more apps, etc. And longevity of software is nice too

I'm actually considering getting the 9 pro for another $100 over the pixel 9 since it's a wash basically if you count the $200 BB gift card. However BB is showing all of the 9 Pros sold out "Coming Soon" now. At least that's what I'm seeing.

The trade-in values haven't changed … it's just that certain models like the Pro have gone out of stock / availability and the corresponding phone trade-in bonus isn't available at the moment. They sometimes release more batches as the release date approaches and they get confirmations of updated production numbers, so deals may return at some point even if currently unavailable.
