Trade-in values are based not just on your trade, but also on what model you're buying. When trading an iPhone 12 / 13, you'll get the best trade value when buying a similar model of new Pixel. For example:

4. Easy return/replacement should there be some defects. Google CS is horrid.
Though a $100 Best Buy gift card is better for most people than a $100 Google Store credit, so that's a factor too.

Anyone know if you can activate the MetroPCS esim on the pixel 9 or another phone instead of the iphone 12? Thanks
I went into best buy yesterday after seeing the trade in values reduced online to see if there was any reason for that.
The guy at the mobile counter had all the trade in prices printed off in a stack. He noted that it showed 799 credit for the iPhone 12 against the pixel 9. he was also able to see that the online trade in was showing much less.
I'm not sure what process he did in store, but I had to trade in my iPhone 12 when I placed the pre order. He mentioned it was a 145 dollar trade in with a 645 dollar promotional credit on top.
I paid 118 dollars to get a pixel 9 256gb for pickup on release day, and received the 100 dollar gift card to use immediately.
There seems to be two ways they can process this, maybe not every employee knows.

Has anyone tried trading in a s23 ultra recently.?
I bought it cheap enough that I can resell easily, but I really wanted a 9 pro xl
Looks like only the S24 Ultra now qualifies for the $1100 trade in.
You could always keep the S23 Ultra to trade in towards the S25 series when it launches in Jan/Feb. I have a feeling we will see good trade in values for the S23 series as they are a lot more desirable than the S22 series. In some ways, the S23 Ultra is even more desirable than the S24 Ultra to some people due to the 10x camera.
