I'm in the Ryobi ecosystem (among others bc damn you, Slickdeals people) but have been leaning towards Wen for my modest track saw needs.

Hit me with your opinions on this vs Wen corded 7.25" vs Wen 20V 6.5"?

I'll bake you a cake or give you rep <3

ETA: Need something compact for breaking down plywood sheets on occasion. Wen appeals to me bc of track compatibility, and 7.25" corded seems good in terms of easy access to blades...but I do like having ALL the Ryobi Wink

I have no experience on Wen tools. But I would suggest Wen over Ryobi because Wen's track is compatible with Makita and Festool, while Ryobi is an orphan system. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks so much for responding. Yep, this seems to be the general internet consensus. I've got no experience with Wen, either, so thought it was worth checking here. It's thanks to this community and the education/advice folks have been willing to share that I even know what a track saw is, after all 💖

I feel this would be fantastic for just breaking down plywood. But I've seen the shoe is plastic, both top and bottom guard, the track itself has a non standard connection for clamps(afaik you only get one) that are only compatible with other Ryobi tracks. I'm a big fan of having everything cordless but at the same time wen appears to be a better saw overall compared to this.

I haven't used either but I've seen some YouTuber reviews and it seems like folks think the Wen is better.
