Wth are you talking about? How did this chair hurt you? Can you show us on the doll where it touched you?
it's 3.3lbs. there are backpacking chairs that are around a pound. Obviously will cost more than this but, imo, worth the weight savings if you are backpacking. if you are just car camping then it's fine though.
A little bit ironic. I just returned this today. I'm 200 lb not stable or strong enough for me

Yeah, it's a shame too that this kind of lying is protected speech because it is a "term of art". A concept to justify unethical behavior. Another example, if I buy something from you but you know I really need it then jack the price 5x that's called usury, taking advantage of others. But if a corporation does the same thing they call it market forces or supply and demand. Just like that, unethical behavior is justified, BAM !

It's....ok.
All the support poles come together under your butt, so there's some flex back and forth that you'll want to minimize so as not to break it. Comfy.

Picked up something similar at Daiso USA for $10~. These are more sturdy because the design has more cross bar support points that minimize flexing and bending. 2lbs as well, so even lighter. Really resists bending/flexing while you shift in the chair better.
Comfort. The deal obviously lets you lay back some, so for the lazy lounging.
The one I pointed out sits you up straighter, so for the activities - cooking, eating, fishing, cutting up food, etc. I can still sit in it 2-3 hours without much issue, then a break standing up.
Obviously the lean back on the deal chair will male it tougher to eat at a table - no back support.
The 1 lbs tripod "stools" are even lighter, but really only good for the hour or so sitting t9n watch a parade or short stop. No back support at all, so no way to just relax all the muscles.

I have these and love them. They fit in the tiny storage compartment next to the spare tire in my trunk. That way, where ever I go, I have a couple of chairs to bust out if need be. Which is often when taking the kids to the park lol.

They also weigh very little and are very packable. When ever we go on a beach vacation, we throw them in the suitcase. Perfect little lounge chairs for the beach.

That being said, for camping trips, we still take the bigger foldables. They are unquestionably better, but these have a great purpose too.

The chair touched me right there..... *points to butt* no, not where you think, the wallet in my back pocket.

I have one and I like it. It's fairly comfortable to sit in. The largest negative is you sit close to the ground, so if you have bad knees, overweight, older, you may have trouble getting up out of it.

It's not for backpacking of course, I just liked it at the store and small form factor.

I have a Helinox chair which is the company that popularized this design (likely higher quality though).
I am 220 lbs and have used this chair for around 5 years. No problem and it can be very comfortable.

This. I have 2 artificial knees and am a bit overweight. Nonetheless I appreciate these for their very compact form factor. The two I own are different brands (a Helinox at 4x the price and a no-name brand) but they're the exact same design. You do have to be very deliberate getting in and out of them, but they're surprisingly comfortable and provide better back support than you'd guess.

Mine are lighter with aluminum poles, but I still consider them too heavy for backpacking. I absolutely agree with others that these Ozark Trail versions with steel poles are in no way shape or form suitable for that purpose.

I can't comment on this particular chair, but I do have a couple of similar-looking chairs from Aldi, also $15 I think. I wouldn't want to be assembling/disassembling these all the time, but it isn't hard. They're also not ideal for sitting for a long time. But we found a good use case scenario for them. They were nice at a music festival. It was an odd festival in that it was a weekend fest with on-site camping but allowed chairs inside the concert venue, and the environment was such that most everyone just left their chairs there for a couple days, which is not advisable many places. We had no trouble carrying the chairs on the walk in, put them together once, then easily moved them between stages when we wanted to move.

Back at camp, I'm always glad to have bigger, more substantial chairs (the Slumber Jack one available here recently, for one), but little ones like this are great when portability is important. I'm about 200 pounds and haven't broken my Aldi chair yet, so I see no reason why this one wouldn't hold as much weight. You could spring for a genuine Helinox, but they're pricy and the Ozarks may be nearly as strong. There are also high-back versions available, which are even more comfy and not too expensive. Costco had some on sale recently, and of course you can find them everywhere online.

I weigh 200 and have never had an issue, even when my wiggly 25 lb toddler is jumping on me.
