Anyone have luck taking these deals to Best Buy for a price match? I'd much rather have BB credit and their warranty than Samsung...

I no longer purchase Samsung Monitors. In the last few months I have had 3 of these die. It gets expensive to ship these back as shipping is not included under warranty. Yes, you can find and replace the boards cheaper than even shipping but it A) damages the heck out of the plastic and B) will permanently void your warranty. I have done this with two older ones but I have now kicked Samsung monitors to the curb

I was interested in this during prime day until I found out you are required to use a remote to interface with the screen. There's no built in menu button to change inputs or make changes to the settings. Also, I don't think you can split the screen without using Samsung/Windows software. The OG G9 has multiple inputs and you can turn on PBP mode which is useful if you need to give a presentation with screensharing and/or you want to game on one input and use another application on the other.

You know what. I had the same problem with a Samsung OLED frame TV. It died under warranty, and they sent a repairman out to fix the TV. He replaced the logic board, and it was fine, but he said that the logic boards went out on those TVs ALL the time. Their screens are nice, but it seems like that was a corner they cut.

I'm not a huge Dell fan, but the Alienware OLED's include a 3 year Burn-in warranty. I have the AW3423DWF and it looks amazing. I'm tempted to switch to the AW3225 but mine looks so good it would be a waste.

Got one, but they're no longer shipping and I had to chat support. The $100 credit apparently is a redemption form that will be sent up to 30 days after the order...

it seems like student discount is 1099 so I had to change to first responder which made it $979, -$50 for using the app first time purchase i believe, and then chat gave me the extra $50 to get to the 879 price. At least I think that's that happened to get me to that price.

The spec reads "Panel type: VA" but the title says "OLED". Confusing

I only was able to get a price adjustment .. I just ordered this less than a couple of days ago.. final price after price adjustment..as it's only showing 899.99 for me.. (no $100 samsung credit) = $ 937. I just hope this doesn't die on me.. I've been using the 34in ultrawide aOled for less than 90 days from Costco....going to be returning that one.

I also have the 34" Oled G8, and just ordered this one open box excellent from Best Buy for $859. Got a new Alienware machine being delivered tomorrow. Gonna at least try a setup with the 34" stacked on the 39" and see how much I like it, or maybe sell the 34" since I only paid $410 for it. Knowing myself tho, I will probably end up keeping both.. now I'm done spending $$$ today. I think.
