Just wanted to chime in on the Speed Clay bar you see there in red. I can't speak to the ceramic spray but that Speed Clay bar is the real deal. You can easily get 90% of the effectiveness of a real clay bar for 1/10th the effort/time. If you have hours to dedicate to claying your car then by all means keep using real clay but if you want that glass smooth finish with just an extra 20 minutes of effort after a wash, I'd switch to the speed clay and never look back.

I used to love mothers, still like their 3 step system for cars with older paint. Their ceramic sucks. Its the absolute worst consumer level from the big players. Its a PITA to apply, its not slick and it doesn't last.

Absolutely agree with this. I have used it on multiple vehicles. It's a great option if you don't want to spend the coin on ceramic coating. Pretty workable and a little goes a long way. If you apply dry, have plenty of clean microfiber towels to yield best results.

for my daily 21 Model Y, i like to wash then clay with with regular detail spray then put a ceramic coating on top. every few years i might do a clay, compound, polish, then ceramic. but in between a full cleaning like that. i just wash, clay and coat.

For my 01 Tahoe (only use a few times a month), i might try this for a quick way to remove contaminants while adding some protection QUICKLY in one step (after doing a quick wash).

It does streak and my vehicle is white. I apply it when wet to reduce streaking, but I'm looking into other brands.

TLDR of comments and reviews: The red speed clay bar this comes with is fantastic; however, the ceramic spray is not as durable and harder to use without streaks and spots than lower cost alternatives. You essentially get the spray for free with the clay, but the spray may not be worth the trouble of using.

I have this, so the way it works is spray, clay, cut, buff and then ceramic.

Cut and buff - I used rotary cordless buffer with mother's compound scratch and swirl remover.
