I clicked because I thought this was a Lego themed PSU for a computer. Disappointed.

Dang, I bought this at $56 last month, still under 30 day return window. Not sure what to do. Does Amazon do price adjustments? Not sure I would want to return/rebuy.

Anyway, this item is great. I have two Barbells, a Curl Bar, and a Triceps Bar in it. So it holds a lot of weight. The only issue I had was it was kind of wobbly. Unless you have a perfectly level floor, it will wobble. I put it in the corner, and used a couple pieces of angle iron and Tapcons to fasten it to the concrete wall. If it is free standing, I'd be a little worried about it tipping over, especially if you have several long 45 pound Barbells in it, or other heavy awkwardly shaped bars. It really needs to be fastened to the floor for safety, which is difficult with this particular unit, compared to the one they sell that has holes in it made to fasten to the floor. So have to do some improvising to fasten this one down. Build quality is outstanding.

Thanks for the input. I was looking at this wondering how the hell it would not tip over.

Amazon normally does not do price matches but you can give it a shot. You might luck out. Normally always a return/rebuy situation if you want money back which makes no sense because Amazon is then paying two times unnecessarily for shipping not to mention all the moving item around storage.

I cut two pieces of angle iron, painted them black. Then dry fitted everything in the corner, marked where the angle iron goes with a pencil. Then used Tapcons to fasten the two angle iron pieces to the wall. If you measure it off carefully, you don't need to fasten the angle iron to the Storage Rack, just slide the Storage Rack under the angle iron. Optionally, I shoved in a couple plastic shims between the angle iron and top of the Storage Rack to really tighten it down.

I try and wiggle it back and forth with all my strength using an inserted 45 pound Barbell as a lever, and that sucker won't move. An 800 pound Gorilla couldn't move this thing now. Much more stable than before, that is very top-heavy with a bunch of tall and heavy Bars in it.

Pay attention to how tall your ceiling is compared to your bar's length + the height of the stand.

Return / rebuy is the least hassle. If you really bother them, they will do a one time price match/refund. But took me 30-40 minutes of harassment (was worth it for the size of the item I was dealing with)

I've seen these exact ones in 5 and 9 bar capacity in powerlifting gyms to store specialty bars. They are solid even without bolting down

It's good but the one function it's meant for it doesn't do well? I want to put something like this in my garage but I never would if I were afraid that my bars would fall on my car ><

Anyone know of this would work out for a hex trap bar.
It's pretty bulky but about the same weight at a 7' Olympic dumbbell bar.

Yes, I have a 45 pound Hex Trap Bar (same weight as a 7' Olympic barbell), and it fits and works fine. You put it in the "middle" hole, and put your other more standard type bars in the 4 "corner" holes.

Only thing is, you would almost need the Barbell Holder out more in the center of the room. As the bulky shape of a Hex Trap bar makes it difficult to put in the holder if the holder is pushed right up against the corner of the room or against the wall.
