short answer yes

long answer different carriers have different radio frequency zones called "bands" allocated to them by the various authorities, thus you match your phone to those frequency "bands" and if your phone has the right bands it can talk to the cell phone towers that use those bands. This is technical, exact model number is Samsung S146VL - Galaxy A14 5G 2023 (there are multiple versions of the A14 for different carriers and US vs non US) here are all the fancy technical bands it supports which is greek to most people (including me even if I can parse it after sorted.)

Supported Frequency Bands (30) https://www.frequencycheck.com/mo...id=2706927

GSM aka 2g

850 MHz GSM
900 MHz (E-GSM) GSM
1800 MHz (DCS) GSM
1900 MHz (PCS) GSM

UMTS a form of 3G

B1 (2100 MHz) UMTS
B2 (1900 MHz PCS) UMTS
B4 (1700/2100 MHz AWS 1) UMTS
B5 (850 MHz) UMTS
B8 (900 MHz GSM) UMTS

LTE
B1 (2100 MHz) LTE
B2 (1900 MHz PCS) LTE
B3 (1800 MHz +) LTE
B4 (1700/2100 MHz AWS 1) LTE
B5 (850 MHz) LTE
B7 (2600 MHz) LTE
B12 (700 MHz ac) LTE
B13 (700 MHz c) LTE
B20 (800 MHz DD) LTE
B28 (700 MHz APT) LTE
B38 (TD 2600 MHz) LTE
B39 (TD 1900 MHz +) LTE
B40 (TD 2300 MHz) LTE
B41 (TD 2500 MHz) LTE
B48 (TD 3600 MHz) LTE
B66 (1700/2100 MHz) LTE
5G NR

N2 (1900 MHz)
N5 (850 MHz)
N66 (1700/2100 MHz)
N77 (3700 MHz)
N78 (3500 MHz)

for example this will work on Tracfone, Verizon (after unlock) and T-Mobile (after Unlock)

But while it will work on T-Mobile it lacks the bands that T-Mobile uses for its 5g for T-Mobile uses bands 71, 41, and 258, 260 and 261 with its 5g so it is not a great T-Mobile phone even if it works great for Tracfone and Verizon.

DW ordered one and later wished she had ordered the pink case, so we called to see if they could change the order. When the CSR made the change on her end, it took away the promo code and wouldn't let her add it back in because the system now says that the DW is not a new customer because she made that one original order. The CSR was very pleasant and spent a considerable time trying to get the $30 discount back. The bottom line is that she deleted the bandana "filler" and just adjusted the price of the phone to get the total with tax back to what it was in the original order. She could have said tough luck, no can do. But she went the extra mile to make the DW happy. Kudos and thanks to that CSR. I'm telling this story because far too often good customer service is non-existant, and when someone within a company goes over and above to take care of a customer, their efforts should not go unheard. We're quick to jump when we get screwed, but often we don't speak up when we're well taken care of.

Thank you to the QVC CSR.

Folks, just a heads up -- the "1500 Talk/Text/Data" isn't per month, it's for the entire year. It works out to about 4 minutes/4 texts/4mb data per day.

Why is qvc tax so much? $16.59 before promo code and $9.51 after.
It's not QVC. Your extra tax depends on your state. Most have a cell service fee (for 911 etc) and some are really high - that's in addition to any sales tax.

I'm a bit confused about the phone. Is it unlocked? Does this phone work with T-Mobile? Or does it become useless after the 1 yr plan?

Phone will be unlocked 60 days after activation, then it should work with T-Mobile.

This deal is not for the plan (unless you want a spare phone for emergency use) but for the phone that can be unlocked after 60 days of activation (if you need one and can wait)
I beg to differ! For many of us, the deal is to harvest the plan to add to another TF line, and sell the phone to recoup some out-of-pocket money or if they don't need the phone or want to bother reselling it, to donate/recycle.

So you do you, and realize that the title was misleading and the poster you replied to was 100% correct. Those used to this kind of deal understand that, but newcomers can easily be misled. It should be stated for the whole year in the OP.

How can we "harvest the plan to add to another TF line" in detail? Thx

So, if I got this with tracfone service and another phone from the straight talk deal, they are the basically the same company. Should I wait to activate this one because it might interfere with the unlocking of the phone from the straight talk deal? I want the straight talk phone to be a daily user phone, so definitely don't want to mess up unlocking it. This one would be just a backup to that so can wait. I think someone said you have a year to activate this one.

QVC allows up to 30 days for returns. You might want to factor that into your decision in case you get a defective phone or one that comes unloaded with airtime, which is known to infrequently happen with TracFone.

You can connect to Wi-Fi and leave the SIM in the phone after activation. You can use it with T-Mobile after unlock. Do not insert the TF SIM in any other phones before unlock/service expiration. You can transfer the service out to a unlocked phone with a $1 TF BYOD SIM after unlock if needed.
I was able to just swap the SIM from a TF A03s to an iphone after the unlock and it worked fine

I don't see why not. Pretty sure it has all the required LTE bands. Not sure about 5G. You are going to have to activate it in the states and wait 60 days for it to unlock. In the meantime you can have it in airplane mode with Wi-Fi calling enabled.
