Any real benefit to use these vs the multiple, top rated generic ones available for less?
I have experience with the Pureplus brand of aftermarket water filters, but they did not last for six months. I had to replace my filter every one to two months when using aftermarket filters. However, your mileage may vary.

Ive used both. From experience, the Samsung ones last longer and test better for a longer period. At $20 each filter it's well worth it. I always for for this type of sale and order about 6 filters to hold out for a couple years
ICEPURE PRO on Amazon has been great for me. Filters out everything you don't want in your water, reasonable price, and lasts for the rated time / volume it claims

Our Samsung uses the thinner, longer filters. We've also had good luck with Icepure and Waterdrop (preferred) filters for significantly cheaper.
I've used generic ones for years until one set broke my filter system. There's a little nub inside the fridge cartridge that needs to be depressed for water to flow. The 3rd party filter must've knocked the nub off alignment and I ended up with poor flow, almost no flow at times. After about 6months of dealing with trying new filters, I end up having to replace the entire filter assembly for like $180 parts on Amazon. I had to take the fridge interior apart to replace. It was a 30min job. But since then I've always stuck with Samsung original parts.
This is just my annecdote. I can't say if with original filters, this would not have happen just from overall wear and tear. 6years old fridge.
just know Samsung fridges have a shitty ice box design and a shitty water filter assembly that can't just replace one tiny part but needs to buy the whole assembly.
to each his own, I buy the generics off Amazon. Off brand that I've had success with is Aqua Crest.. it seems to last pretty long to me and we go through a lot of water.

Those are fakes. You won't get OEM and no warranty since it's a third party seller.

If you want to try them, Samsung genuine includes a corny authentic test strip-ensure that test out
Didn't know they went this low-paid $75 in march-darnit!
