Reddit sub confirmed that the entire Iconic Films of the 1960s bundle is in SD because the included Once Upon a Time In the West (1968) is SD.

What?! A rare movie where John Wayne can be said to be acting. They are effectively the exact same film. Portrayals of both are really good.

You can easily find them all if you just search under "Iconic Films"

Note that it doesn't list 4K though so I'm not sure if you'll get a free upgrade to 4K like you do on iTunes.

If anyone bought them there can you please report back if Fandango gives you 4K or not

Watch out for the Iconic Films of the 2000's. Back in May, there was a deal for Iconic Comedy Films of 00's, there are lots of overlap. That bundle contained:

*Zoolander (HD)
*Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (HD)
*How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (HD)
Tropic Thunder (4K UHD)
*Almost Famous (4K UHD)
*School of Rock (HD)

This should go without saying but, before you purchase any of these, go through each film and make sure you don't own too many already. I already had 6/10 of the 1960s bundle and couldn't justify spending $20 on the rest.

Vudu/Fandango only matched SOME of the bundles. Here is the link...I thought it was easy to search "iconic films' on the site....

It's so difficult to check with iTunes. For VUDU, it would only take a few seconds. Just click the bundle for detail and it tells you right away if you have some of the movies and what resolution you have it for. For iTunes, you have to click every single movie. And with the mobile app, it doesn't tell you what resolution you have. In fact, the only way to check this reliably is to go to the desktop iTunes, check every movie in store. If it doesn't let you buy it, that means you have the max resolution. If not, it will have a play button and at the same time it will give you the option to purchase the higher resolution.

It also didn't help that there are two version of this bundle with the same name. I bought the previous Iconic Films for 00's and had to request iTunes for a refund because I'm paying $20 for 1 4K movie plus 2 HD movies.

This came up every time and answered every time.

The bottom line is you want to purchase MA compatible movies and bundles via iTunes instead of VUDU, because when you purchase anything or redeem any code via iTunes, iTunes will give you the highest resolution they have at the time. And if the movie gets an upgrade later on, you will get the free upgrade

But Paramount movies are not MA. So if you only use VUDU to watch movies, then you might have a valid reason to purchase this on VUDU this time.

I'm a Vudu guy but I'm also a traveler. Vudu doesn't work in foreign countries without a VPN, Apple does.
