I like that it doesn't need power. I couldn't find the pure-to-drain ratio, but I expect it to be much lower than 2:1, probably around 1:2 or 1:4. Also, 50 GPD seems quite slow for water flow.

After using the traditional RO system with the separate tank for couple years. Changing replacement filters is bothersome. I switched to tankless system like this one. It's so much compact and easy to install. Yes it will cost more to replace but I prefer convenience over price.

It's cheaper buying bottled water. But we will consume much more purified water after installed the system. I ended up buying the filter.
BTW, it tastes worse than bottled water.
