FYI - America's Test Kitchen prefers the D3 over the D5.
If you put these pans in the dishwasher your edges will get sharp as the detergent corrodes the exposed layers of the pans
I got those from Costco. They are not quality products and can't be compared with All-Clad :-)

If you're looking for stainless steel pans my local Costco has a 2 size pack on clearance for $20, I think it's they're 12 and 10 inches. You might want to check one near you.

I got these last time and for some reason, they have sharp edges. I occasionally get cuts while loading in the dishwasher. Anyone experience that?

The 8 qt stock pot is a steal. Picking up the 3 qt saute D3 everyday to go with our 12" fry pan, great price on that too.

don't put them in the dishwasher? All kidding aside, and not to be a snarky reply, but really just you shouldn't be putting these in the dishwasher. dishwasher safe yes, dishwasher good idea for longevity, no.

I'm tired of buying new nonstick every year or so just for eggs. I have a full set of all clad except for fry pans. Does anyone use them for eggs, fried or scrambled?
