Like others have said, tons of ads. Funny thing is they offer discounts like this to pad their subscriber total to charge advertisers more.

If you can, install Adblock on your router, it can block ads on many streaming apps including Peacock on TV. Asus router with Diversion adblock works great.

Type your question on youtube and watch several videos on the process. Depending on your technical abilities, it may be fairly simple. However, if it seems dawning after watching the videos, push through it and try or find someone with more technical prowess to do it for you.

Too many commercials!!l
It's not as bad as Hulu though. Hulu is unbearable with how many commercials they play.

We've had it for several months for $1 / month from when they were running a promo. The promo was for a few months but after I went to cancel, I got a pop-up offering same deal for 6 more months. Honestly, I think it's all this is worth. I don't watch sports and don't like Yellowstone. The only thing I watch regularly is SNL. They have all old seasons and it's been a treat to rewatch some old episodes. As others said, the amount of ads is excessive. For 1 hour of SNL there are at least 6 commercial breaks. And ads are just incredibly dumb. Many ads are for their own shows, which feels especially forced. It would be much better if there were longer but fewer ad breaks.

Their Roku app is not good. When scrolling, it never shows correct location. Doesn't remember which episode I watched, etc.

They have a new show about Rome with Anthony Hopkins, which seems interesting. And they have some kids movies like Puss in the Boots. Unless you're into sports or other specific NBC content, there is simply not much to watch though. I barely found something to put on my watch list. It's fun to try at this low price but prepare to be disappointed.

So you're paying for most of it with your time by spending it watching ads. Easy pass.
