who knows. Got one from woot 2 yrs ago basically new.
This is a Midea Rebranded. The model has cooling and heating which has been sold out every where. Could be discontinued but its the color and one I wanted.

We never have to drain our pinguinos, but we don't use them for heat so maybe that's why.
