Man Nintendo is the only one that can keep the price of a 7 year old game so damn high! Yeah I know it's the deluxe version but my point still stands. Nintendo is greedy.

Look, call it greed if you want. But in reality, it's because people still pay it. Basic economics still works here; if no one was paying the prices that Nintendo charged, then the prices would come down 🤷

The long term playability for these types of classic Nintendo games, (and the Switch in general) is incredible

Seriously. That was my first thought! How is this not a $19.99 title now?! And worse than that, wasn't this game a carry over from the Wii U?

Nintendo knows how to game the gamers because they can do remasters of remasters and like you mention their games either stay at msrp or rise once games go out of print.

Has anyone ever seen a deal on the DLC? I would like to get that but don't want to pay full price if it goes down. Not in a rush...

Value is what it is…at $20 I could turn around and sell it to 2nd & Charles for that much, then they'd sell it for $45.

Still one of the best console games ever made.

I haven't, but at $20 I think it's still worth it. Some of the courses are gimmicky but there are a few real gems.

To clarify, this is the base version of the game originally released on Switch back in 2017. None of the DLC that has been released since then is included. The "Deluxe" designation was added because this title was a port of the Wii U original which released in 2014 (so it's actually a 10 year old game), and it included the DLC that had been released on that console. But again, all of the DLC released for this Switch version is not included.

Bro they had 2 years of DLC, which is basically a game in itself. You need to look at Mario Kart or Smash Brothers like say games like Fortnite,GTA5 or Diablo.

But to answer your question, Mario Kart 9 or whatever they will call it will definitely come out on Switch 2. If the new 3D Mario is not a launch title, Mario Kart will definitely be one. Were getting Metroid Prime and a Mario title for sure in 2025
