I feel like only orient (maybe 1 or 2 others) offers sapphire around this price point nowadays.
Perhaps in mechanical movements, but in case anyone is interested in quartz, the Casio Lineage line, primarily a JDM line I believe (Japan Domestic Market), has sapphire crystals, and is phenomenal value in general for the features. E.g. the LCW-M100TSE (ana-digi, but there are pure analog dial models too) has, among other things, a sapphire crystal, titanium case and bracelet, is solar powered, and has 6 band radio for atomic sync, all at a ~$150 price point - extremely hard to beat that value and worth checking out for anyone in the market for a moderately dressy and incredibly practical everyday watch IMO.
Ya but the retail price is absurd. You can get sapphire crystal for 300-500. This retail price for mineral crystal isn't good.
Retail prices include the ~100% markup of a B&M jewelry store. It's also a double domed crystal, which you really don't see in sapphire in the 300-500 range from established brands. Especially not in a certified diver.

You can always buy yourself a Citizen Fujitsubo Diver watch that has a titanium bracelet and Sapphire crystal. https://www.jomashop.com/citizen-...1-68l.html Jomashop has that watch for $549 which for the price isn't that bad considering the MSRP is $1000 and normal sale price is $800. Nothing wrong with an automatic Citizen Promaster diver watch but they don't look as premium as what would get from Seiko or Hamilton.
