With all that said, it's still one of best smart watch with feature rich, long battery life and stylish/lightweight. If you're looking for a watch particularly in this category, then it will be a good buy. Otherwise if looking for an overall better fitness/sport watch, then with $350-400 price range, you could find something like forerunner 965 with more features, or epix series if you need more outdoor oriented and don't mind heavier weight.
Still repped.

You can also look at the feature set/upgrades and determine whether this is worth it over a used/refurbished Venu 2 Plus. I recently got a refurbished Venu 2 Plus off Slickdeals for $170 that I am overall happy with it for the price, but a few added features like Sleep coach, nap detection, and power meter support would have had me seriously consider this to replace my lost Fenix 6 had it been available at that time.

My only regret is im a stats nerd and I like to get ALL the features and training BS, so I will probably be upgrading once theres a deal on either the Fenix or Epix, or maybe something like a 965 or higher. Will insist on it being light enough to not notice though.

Edit: Seeing FR 945 for under $400 on amazon, not sure the difference between all these models lol

How is the BT pairing to headphones (airpods)? I'm considering moving from an Apple Watch, which I love except for the battery life. My use case is fitness (mostly running) while listening to podcasts and/or music, sleep in offline mode, and general health tracking. I don't bring my phone when running.
Can you or others with experience on both platforms chime in?
