Great sound, super comfy and good mic, at this price it's good deal if you are in for a budget wire headset

Anyone use these on Xbox without the "stereo adapter"?

Not sure what adapter it's referring you to. My green one worked right out of the box and they're awesome! I have to tell my friends which direction the bad guys are coming from 😜

On series x/s controllers, no adapter needed. On Xbox one, certain controllers need an adapter, but it depends on the type or version, IIRC (it will work with anything that has a 3.5mm jack).

if these are anything like the wireless version i picked up for 30 bucks on clearance at a walmart a while back... Mic will be great, heft feels good (feels like it won't fall apart), and the positional sound isn't bad

now what i will say... i tried their software / i uninstalled their software and only use the headset driver.. which is all you need -- since these are wired though i think you don't really need to do anything so that con doesn't really exist

also.. you probably won't find that clearance deal / it was random when i walked into my local walmart and saw them for 30 dollars marked down and i was like wtf??? from what i can tell they updated the model to use usb-c, the variant i purchased was the micro-usb variant

I have the ones with the usb 'sound card'.

Can I use the white ones with that? Like if I bought these as a spare

Do these have a single driver in each ear or multiple smaller drivers for true-ish 7.1? I owned headphones in each config, the multi driver versions seem to do a much better job of directional sound (but probably don't sound as good).

On the regular Black shark V2 the audio cable is removable and replaceable. On the V2 X version the audio cable is integrated.

I had the regular V2 edition, they were super comfy with great sound. The ear cups made a very tight seal and the air pressure made my pulse deafening, so I had to get rid of them. That's just me, I think, and otherwise they were great.

It may not be needed, but managing audio controls, mute, and game vs chat is 100% easier if you're using a wired Headset on Xbox with a Microsoft Controller.
