So, 3 game for 120 bucks, or 40 dollars each. That the same sale price that these games routinely go on sale for. Needing a best buy membership as well as being forced to buy 3 games makes this a like warm deal at best.
Plus tax in some places haha. It's game dependent, would want to get newer/preorder AAA titles like Zelda since they are unlikely to have a big sale in short term. If you have the membership already, makes sense for some

11% cash back if you buy through another app right now too.
Not seeing near 11% on this on any of the big ones, did this expire?

Miss the old Bestbuy system where you could roll over the B2G1 XD
I tried once the roll over twice. Paid for 2 games and got 5 games in total. Good times

I bought 18 games, which, when all said and done after cashback, I am paying $24.13 per game (26.42 with tax) with a mix of current deal games and pre orders. I already had BB Total Plus membership, so that isn't an added cost.

As this deal requires you to have a Best Buy membership in order to take advantage, is there anyone with such a membership who can talk about the virtues of having it? I order from Best Buy maybe once or twice a year. If I were not going to make use of that membership beyond this deal, it's more like getting about $3 off each of 3 $60 games, which I don't think even covers the taxes. Granted, that's still better than paying full price, and the games I'm interested in are all first party Nintendo games, but hopefully there will be at least a slightly better deal than that before Christmas.
You get 2 day shipping , membership exclusive deals and prices (such as this one) and my favorite 60 return policy instead of the usual 14 . for roughly $4 a month it's a solid membership.

I am so mixed on it... there are promotions, but they are so few and far between and no real clue about when it will come.

This is what I've done from a gaming perspective.

So I got the membership for free in October when I bought a TV. It was spend $500 and you would get the membership for $50 with a $50 reward cert back. So I used that certificate to get Spiderman 2 for PS5. So it's a wash at this point.

Next deal I got was not until June for the Spend $125 get a $50 certificate. I did that to get a new NSO Family Membership for $80 and then a $50 Nintendo eShop gift card. Got a $50 certificate I put toward Astrobot on PS5. Really didn't spend anything I wasn't going to spend anyway, so a good deal.

Now this deal is coming up with the B2G1 free, and honestly, struggling to find that third game I don't have to make it worth it. I want Zelda and Mario Party and was going to get those anyway, so I guess this is like getting Brothership for free if I pick that up? Might as well do it.

I don't see them having another deal before my membership expires in 2 months. The membership was essentially free, so the perks will essentially be a free $45 in eShop Credit and free Mario and Luigi Brothership, which I'm on the fence about. If I had to buy the membership and didn't get it for free, I don't think it would have been worth it, IMO. $50 on the chance of MAYBE two promotions in a year worth taking advantage of? Nah. Why are they so frugal on the promotions for paying members!

Thanks. That's very helpful. Like you, I want the Zelda game and Mario Party, and I was like, "well, I guess I'll get Brothership too," but I wasn't sure how likely it would be that I'd get other promotions over the year to make it worthwhile paying for the membership.

These games should all average $40. Plus with qvc deals, spoofing the new account, why would you even do this? Bring us a bogo then we can talk.

Last time they did a Switch B2G1 was in June 2023. These deals are not frequent at all to justify buying a membership, IMO.

Not sure if already said but you can stack this deal. Tried on a second order and it looked like it went through.
