I ordered the 16gb MacBook Air in 15". I have bad vision. How does this compare? The price difference is only $50 and I can still return the other.

Edit: the other one was tax free…this one is over $100 in tax. Didn't realize that.

Depends on what you want to do. I got this for this price under a military discount earlier this year and I've used a 1.5TB MicroSD and the low profile MicroSD slot that turns the card sideways so it's fully captured in the MacBook and doesn't stick out. I'll admit that while this is great for movies and other data it's not what I use for running programs because of speed. Also given that it's not powered…the MacBook will often put the drive to sleep and you have to restart the computer to get it it to turn back on (people will tell you to change the settings but trust me that doesn't work). The last 3 days I've been on the iOS 18 developer beta and it hasn't went to sleep and disconnected so maybe they have it fixed but I have a small sample size.
