Why would that promo apply to a sale from another vendor (Costco) ?

Question for the experienced folks - lifepo4 batteries of similar capacity can be purchased for less than 2k. Guessing another 1k for the wiring/hub etc

Is the 3k estimate comparable as DIY to this 5k plug n play option? And if yes, 2k price difference is a ton...is the diy option that much more difficult/challenging?

You need to price in the cost of BMS and inverter, which is included in Ecoflow's product but would need to be added separately for your DIY solution.

Not that hard.. I'm surprised it would save that much have to compare to charge controller and inverter

It's not hard, but you'll never be able to package it in a unit this size and keep it relatively portable.

The fact that this brand new release of Delta Pro 3 are so dramatically being discounted, shows that Ecoflow is not selling as fast as they expected. Not surprised with the 120V or 240V limitation (you can only use one or the other but not both at the same time). For that kind of money $5K, the Delta Pro Ultra IMO is a better buy without the 120/240V limitation. And you should be able to find it cheaper (but 6100Wh/battery) at around $4100-4500 and with no sales tax (off-grid, Wellbot, etc..).
