Ebay link shows OOS and BB store link shows bad URL (item does not exist).

I can't believe that many people got excited over an 8GB Windows laptop when it was $699 this past weekend with i7 Ultra, 16GB LPDDR5 and 1TB (plus same OLED).

UPDTAE: BB URL now works.

That model has never been $699 but $749 as the lowest.
8GB is fine for majority of the general population who'd only use this for web browsing, media consumption and light productivity.

So, speak for yourself.

Was hoping that 14" AMD HP Envy 2-in-1 would come back this week for $500 again. Come on BB, I'm ready to buy Smilie

ebay still shows in stock for me. $499 is not something I would pay for 8gb non-upgradeable ram, but it's not a horrible price.

I believe, if you bother looking at most of the comments on 8GB laptops, I speak for most people. But I appreciate that you feel you need to defend your deal no matter what.
Also, your snarkiness aside, the 16GB/Ultra 7/1TB OLED version most definitely was $699.99 this past weekend at BB. I have a receipt that says so (I bought one at $749 and got BB to PM, then bought another at $699.99), plus I posted on the original deal thread that it was $699.99:

8GB plus poor build quality = avoid. Ours started to split in 10 months and then died.

Sad to hear, I thought Asus was generally good on build quality. Certainly better than Lenovo.
